Phil Acock, Managing Director, Fourayes Farm

“We were delighted with everything that Optimorph delivered for us. They have great expertise in modern management techniques and lean manufacturing and are able to implement change with good buy-in from all the team. We expect over the coming months and years to attain world class performance through Optimorph guidance. This in turn will enable us to manage growth much more efficiently and help us maintain our market leading position.”

Alan Kirkham, Workforce Development, Thanet College

Tarrina worked with me to deliver specialist training for one of our flagship companies. She and her colleagues at Optimorph were exemplary in their work, going far beyond that expected and were successful in getting 100% success with the students passing a difficult and complex qualification.

My reason for asking Tarrina to help was because I was aware of her work with other companies in the area and her superb reputation in managing company change. I also knew her as a facilitator for a manufacturers’ forum in East Kent where she proved extremely effective and professional

I would wholeheartedly recommend Tarrina.

Ailsa Connell-Wilson, Quality Manager, Emtelle Ltd

I have hired Tarrina on more than one occasion, and for more than one company, to deliver tailored training to cross-functional groups. I have always found her very professional to deal with throughout the whole training process. Her flexibility and attention to detail ensures that our needs as a business are accommodated perfectly.

She is extremely personable and takes the time to learn what we’re all about, which certainly made my life easier in that the groups took to her from the outset. I have had nothing but positive feedback from everyone I have ever placed before her and would not hesitate in bringing her expertise again. The fact that I drafted her in over 300 miles from home is testament to that!

Ross Parker, Managing Director, Denne Joinery

Denne Joinery had a need for a communication and improvement plan to aid the development of our business and sought assistance in this from Optimorph Ltd.  During her time working with us Tarrina has successfully implemented various business improvement ideas including regular improvement teams focusing on efficiency, personnel development and workplace organisation.  Tarrina has also been instrumental in the achievement of our ISO14001 certification and has provided support throughout other quality and environmental standards (ISO9001 and FSC / PEFC).  Tarrina is a highly organised and dedicated individual who has been of great benefit to our business and the continuing improvements we are experiencing.

Peter Allman, Technical Manager, Fourayes Farm Ltd

Tarrina showed great drive and resilience while developing and implementing Lean practice and business improvements into a site that was relatively new to best manufacturing practice; all this while being mindful of and sympathetic to the concerns and needs of her peers, subordinates and factory employees.
A great leader, and a great manager to work for. “Firm but fair”.

John Martin, Sustainable Business Projects Manager, Business Link Kent

“Optimorph have successfully delivered three projects for Business Link Kent, a Manufacturing Resource Efficiency Club, a Manufacturing Best Practice Club and the manufacturing element of an EU funded cross border project. They continue to run breakfast meetings for the Manufacturing Advisory Service presenting bite size learning packages on Lean principles. The reason we use them is that they deliver what they have promised “in spades”. They do not have to be handheld, just given a task, and they get on with it without any fuss.”

Mike Beale HS&E Co-ordinator, Syngenta Ltd

“If you are looking for fresh ideas, great planning and communication skills, commitment, determination and delivery then I can unreservedly recommend Optimorph; Optimorph will provide all these talents in abundance. Optimorph has the ability to engage all levels of staff equally effectively, are good motivators and very action orientated. It has been a pleasure to work with Optimorph on a number of major projects in recent years.”

Dr Liz Goodwin, Director of Materials Programmes, WRAP

“Optimorph worked with a team from WRAP to help us review our internal procedures. We really valued the presence of an expert independent facilitator who was able to focus on the process allowing us to consider the content of the procedures and ensure we made real progress. Optimorph worked well with all the members of the team and took the time to ensure that everyone’s expectations were met.”

Michael Juke, Chairman, London Fancy Box

The 20-week experience on BIT training gave not only theoretical and practical lessons in ‘world class techniques’ but also exposed the multi-functional team to a wider range of colleagues, with their own respective issues and experiences. They have returned to their jobs determined to carry forward the lessons learned and have presented to their Directors three projects they are sure will make a difference and provide examples to others. The company’s challenge is to build on this development by using individual participants to provide ‘bite sized’ training packages to their colleagues. Working with Optimorph was a pleasure and we will continue to use their expertise to help our continuous improvement objectives.”

Richard Greenfield, Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement, HV Wooding Ltd

The original proposal was clear and concise whilst providing sufficient detail to show that our stated requirements had been taken into account. It included details on timings and training, including options for variance where required.

Throughout the delivery of the project, we have found Tarrina Miller to have a very professional and knowledgeable approach, and she has created a good rapport with the trainees at shop floor and management level.  All of our wishes have been accommodated and guidance offered for next steps. Coaching sessions have been very well received by our staff and Tarrina has been willing to assist with the paperwork required.

We are very happy with the way our relationship with Optimorph Ltd has developed and look forward to continuing to work with Tarrina Miller.

Philip Mason C. Eng. Quality Manager, Strata Technology Ltd.

We first worked with Tarrina Miller, Optimorph, back in 2015 having contacted her following a referral during the initial stage in our “Fit 4 Nuclear” assessment journey. We had an ambitious broad list of tasks requiring training/consulting support, against tight timelines. Her response stood out as both prompt and succinct, and it was clear that Tarrina had fully understood the brief with a proposal focussed on providing training, coaching and hands on support to establish and implement a number of ‘value add’ improvements whilst maximising on the development of people. Tarrina was not only highly professional in delivering, training and supporting subjects ranging from strategy and leadership, performance and process measurement, through to culture change and communication but crucially able to engage with the whole team from Technicians and Engineers through to Directors. We not only gained “Fit 4 Nuclear” status, to the required programme but also achieved “Investors in People”, both in no small way as consequence of her understanding, experience and commitment. I found Tarrina easy to work with and would not hesitate to ask for her support in any future challenges. –
